FAQs

What’s the difference between Tush and a regular shower head?
A regular shower head simply sprays the water that comes out of your pipes. Tush first runs it through a carbon fiber (ACF) filter and a vitamin C filter, then through 392 fine micro-nozzles for a soft, even spray.
What’s actually inside the filter, and how does it work?
Tush uses three stages: an ACF carbon fiber filter that helps reduce chlorine, sediment and rust, a slow-release vitamin C cartridge that helps neutralize residual chlorine, and 392 stainless-steel micro-nozzles.
Will it soften my water?
Tush filters chlorine, sediment, rust and impurities. It is not a water softener and does not remove the minerals that make water hard.
How do I install Tush?
Unscrew your current handheld shower head from the hose, screw Tush on and hand-tighten. It takes about 30 seconds and no tools.
Will it fit my shower?
Tush fits all standard 1/2" shower hoses used in the US.
Do I need a handyperson?
No. Installation is tool-free and takes less than a minute.
Will it affect my water temperature?
No. Tush does not heat or cool the water.
Will it reduce my water pressure?
The 392 micro-nozzles are designed to keep a strong, dense spray. With very low household pressure you may notice a small difference.
My shower head is leaking from the connection. How do I fix it?
Unscrew Tush, check that the rubber washer is seated flat inside the connector, then screw it back on and hand-tighten. If it still drips, add a few turns of plumber’s tape to the hose thread.
How often should I replace my filter?
We recommend replacing the filters every [X] months, or sooner if you notice reduced water pressure.
